Feeling overwhelmed by marketing and juggling everything else as a small business owner? Asking yourself what’s the point of marketing hustle when the results are small and slow?
You’re not alone. Consistency is tough and to-do lists keep growing.
We try our best. We buy the courses (and sometimes even finish them). We try to implement complicated systems.
But what if we didn’t need all that hassle?
I believe what we need most is a bit of structure and accountability, and simple, expert marketing guidance. A sense of community would be nice too, because self employment can be a lonely road.
That’s exactly where the Do Crew comes in.
What’s the Do Crew?
The Do Crew is my very special accountability and support group that helps small businesses to:
✅ actually get some marketing DONE (stop procrastinating!),
💪 get better at marketing without getting overwhelmed,
🫰 access expert marketing help at a bargain price, and
🥰 feel less alone on their entrepreneurial journey!
Who the Do Crew is for
The Do Crew is for you if you see marketing as a big mountain to overcome or the cause of endless spirals of overwhelm and procrastination.
It’s also for you if you’re done with signing up for workshops and courses that you never end up completing (never mind implementing in your business), and if you’re sick and tired of all the conflicting marketing advice you find online.
There are 4 aspects to the Do Crew.
Productivity and accountability
Weekly coworking sessions on Zoom to get your marketing done, with me on hand to answer questions and cheerlead you.
Sessions are held on different days and at different time slots to give everyone in the Do Crew the chance to make sessions a few times a month (upcoming dates are in the FAQs below).
Bite-sized, relevant learning
We have monthly themes around a specific aspect of marketing (e.g. emails, LinkedIn, visibility, websites, selling + much more).
You’ll get a 15-minute video training on the 1st of the month, which is supported by weekly mini trainings on the same topic.
My goal is to not overwhelm you with information but leave you feeling excited and inspired, ready to be a bit braver with your marketing.
Affordable expert marketing support
Ask me anything in the weekly coworking sessions or private (optional) Facebook group. We have regular hotseat sessions during which I help members individually in a small group setting, where you can also draw on the feedback/experience of other members.
You can also book hugely discounted 1:1s with me (power hours are just £150; non-member price is £250).
Community of cheerleaders
The Do Crew has grown to over 50 members who support one another in the coworking sessions and Facebook group.
There’s a directory so you can get in touch with others, and I actively encourage collaborations between members.
We also have the Parish Newsletter that is a chance for members to share their work/wins and ask for help or collaborations.
In our You Crew sessions members share something (their work/a lesson/tools etc.) with the rest of the Crew so we can learn from each other, brainstorm challenges together and give valuable feedback on new ideas.
Hear from the Do Crew
A screengrab from a Zoom meeting with some of the Do Crew members. It shows around 20 of the participants smiling at the camera, with some members waving and some members having their camera off.
Do Crew FAQ: all the details
What does it cost?
The price is £40 a month, or £400 for the year (pay annually and get 2 months free).
When can I join?
Do Crew doors open 3 times a year, usually in January, May and September. Join the waitlist for next time.
Dates
Regular weekly calls take place on different days of the week and at different times, but they are all in the daytime (BST/GMT). These are the dates until the end of the year.
Yes, recordings, monthly trainings and any other materials are all uploaded to the members’ area.
Can I pause or cancel if it’s not for me?
You cannot pause your membership, but you can cancel at any time and join again when doors reopen.
Is there a Facebook group or other community space?
Yes, an optional Facebook group.
Initially I didn’t want to add anything in the mix that may keep you from being focused and productive. However, a members’ survey revealed people would value such a space, so it has been set up as an option for people who like to connect in this way. There is also a directory so you can find and connect with other members of the Do Crew, and regular Parish News emails to share information and collaborate.
