Feeling "meh" about marketing? Bored with the same old advice and sick of “shoulds”? Overwhelmed by all the options and frustrated with how bloody hard things seem to be right now?

Maybe you want to feel brimming with ideas, hopeful about the future, and excited to try something new…

I've got you.

Rut to Riot is a jam-packed and fast-paced challenge for rebel spirits who need a marketing shake-up!

What is Rut to Riot?

Rut to Riot is a short programme designed to help you reclaim your marketing mojo and have a lot of fun along the way!

Hi! I’m Karen and I’ll be taking you through your Rut to Riot journey. Get to know me.

We’re going to:

  • stick 2 fingers up at mainstream marketing practices

  • experiment with feel-good marketing

  • collaborate

  • have a laugh +

  • feel energy and inspiration trickle back into your business!

I’ll help you:

  • figure out why the shoulds make you feel like shit and what to do instead

  • learn how to break the marketing rules in a way that helps your business

  • take risks

  • create habits and processes for sustainable marketing momentum

  • maybe even learn to love marketing, at least a bit!

What’s included:

Many marvellous mojo-boosting activities!

  • 4 practical, chatty, informal and non-boring workshops (via Zoom, recorded)

  • a coworking session during which you can create magical marketing with me on hand to cheer you on and answer your questions

  • 2 days of email inspiration

  • a virtual wrap party

  • group accountability call afterwards

There will also be an optional Facebook pop-up group where we can hang out and share wins, ask questions and cheer each other on.

It’s fast-paced but you can attend/do as much or as little as you like. We have F U N during this week, which includes games, prizes, experiments and camaraderie.

Honestly, it’s going to be ace. Even acer if you join.

This challenge is for you if:

  • You’re done with feeling in a rut with your marketing.

  • You’re suspicious about what you’ve previously been told is the “right” way to do marketing.

  • You’re ready to try something different and willing to actually give it a shot!

This course is NOT for you if:

  • You’re anti-feminist or pro-Tory. We aren’t each other’s people.

  • You don’t want to rock the marketing boat.

  • You want to trick people into buying your stuff by using manipulative, dishonest marketing tactics. (For a better understanding about this, please see the ethical move.)

  • You’re offended by swearing (sorry mum, you know what I’m like).

  • You are not committed to creating an inclusive, diverse, anti-racist space.

Nice things people have said about Rut to Riot

‘Pure GEMS of marketing goodness’ - that’s how I’d describe Rut to Riot.

Through a well-thought out process, the essence of ‘you’ is slowly pulled out from behind the evil ‘shoulds’ of marketing, only to blossom into a fantastic feeling of ‘hell yeah I’m going to do it MY way’!

I need a constant ‘Karen’ to remind me that marketing can feel great, and in Rut to Riot Karen showed us how to find who we are, how to find our people, how breaking all the rules is the best thing to do, and how creativity should be joyful - whatever that means to you!

If you’re feeling the weight of marketing on your shoulders, Rut to Riot will lighten the load and guide you to a place where you jump out of bed each day, excited about what marketing chaos you can create!

We can all be riotous so it seems, and I love that! Thank you Karen.

Rut to Riot has given me a marketing energy boost that I needed. And also reminded me that marketing isn’t just about posting on social media.

Highly recommend a Goodness Marketing boost - Karen’s enthusiasm and joy is beautifully infectious. She always makes me feel more confident about my marketing.

Rut to Riot was amazing! All the sessions were really interactive and fun (with great slides).

There were clear “call to actions” at the end of each day, which were time specific (so you might actually do them!) and big enough goals to make you feel like you’d progressed but not so big, you wouldn’t do them.

I felt like it was very personal & Karen and the others in the group were very supportive.

I found it best to try out as many of the actions as possible - I went back through & loved making up fun stories with the random word & sentence game - it suddenly made me feel more creative and I had lots more ideas for business.

I’ve managed to let go of feeling like everything should be perfect, and going with the “just do it “ mantra instead!

Thank you Karen for getting me out of my rut….I’m looking forward to having a riot with my marketing now!!

And if you ever do a membership - I’m in!
